Mollymook Surf Beach has long been a popular spot for locals and visitors. This golden stretch of sand offers ideal conditions for experienced surfers, body surfers and anyone keen to learn. The headlands at either end of the beach offer protection on windy days. The grassy reserves behind the beach are ideal for picnics, relaxing and watching the kids at play, with the surf club located at the south end of the beach. Mollymook Bay also teems with marine life, including resident dolphins. Fishing and whale watching are popular activities. The Reef is where serious surfers head, while safe swimming can be found at Narrawallee Inlet. The Bogey Hole, a large natural rock pool on the Mollymook headland, is a safe place for families to snorkel and swim. You can also try your hand at surfing with the Ulladulla Surf School or Mollymook Surf School. During the warmer months, Mollymook Beach is patrolled by certified surf lifesavers. Be sure to swim between the red and yellow flags. The Mollymook Golf Club also has two very scenic golf courses. The 9 hole beachside course is found on the southern end of the beach and the 18 hole hilltop course is set amongst the bushland near the ocean. Its an idyllic setting for a round of golf.
