Lake Moeraki Wilderness Lodge

The Lodge is a paradise for nature lovers and for those wanting a relaxing retreat away from the pressures of the modern world. On arrival we give you a copy of our current activities programme, maps and information. Forget your car for a couple of days and settle in and explore. Radiating from the Lodge is a network of rainforest and Tasman seacoast walks. In front of the Lodge there is a fleet of canoes for you to explore the Moeraki river and you can paddle the short distance up the river to the Lake. Lake Moeraki Wilderness Lodge has 24 Rainforest Rooms and 4 more luxurious Riverview Rooms. Rainforest Rooms have forest outlooks and each has its own bathroom and tea and coffee making facilites, fresh fruit and flowers. Suitable for a couple or 2 adults and 1 child under 12 sharing. Rooms with an interconnecting door are avaiable for families. Riverview Rooms are suitable for a couple or 2 adults only. They are not available for children. Rooms have their own deck with beautiful views down the Moeraki River Rapids. More luxurious with a spa bath and separate shower.
