It towers over the entire district of Danube-Ries. The castle is located directly on the upper Ries crater rim and allows from here beautiful views of the Ries and the Danube valley. It's a great place for hiking, biking or exploring the region by motorbike. The canoe can paddle down the Wörnitz, the fisherman can catch rare fish. It is a bird paradise and other rare species can be observed here.
